A good introduction paragraph has to have many things. First off it has to be organized because it sets up the organization for the rest of the paper. It has to have a good hook to capture the readers' attention. It has to explain how the main topic of the paper is divided and summarize the key points of each topic. Lastly, it has to give some background information on the topic.
