Journal - Who is the oldest family member of your family you have ever met? What do you know about your family history? Have your parents ever told you anything thing about your family history?  Do you know what kind of heritage you have? Explain as much as you can about your family and any history you have knowledge of.

The oldest person in my family that I have ever met is my great-grandfather. He is my mother's grandfather and he is 99 years old. I know that I have ancestors from Ireland and other parts of Europe. They immigrated to America a long time ago when the Irish potato famine was going on. After arriving in America they moved to Kansas where we are now.

Journal - Which web design platform did you choose - Wix or Weebly? What are three things you've learned about Web Design so far? 

I used wix to make my website. One thing I learned about web design is how to make a new page on a website. Also how to customize the colors and background of the page. I learned how to insert and edit text on a web page and make it bigger or smaller or change its color. Lastly I learned how to add pictures into a webpage and crop and size them.

What have you learned about making a website? Explain.

I learned how to create a website through wix. I learned how to make different pages on a website and edit those pages. I learned how to add footers and headers onto a website. I learned how to add text to a website and link different things through buttons onto a web page. Also I learned how to add pictures to the website.

Journal - What do you know about building and creating a website? Have you ever done it before?  List qualities of a well designed and well functioning website.

I know that to make a website there are tools online that you can use to help you make one. I know that when making a website you can embed things like glogsters and prezis. I have never made a website before. A well designed website would be easy to use and look nice. It would also have functioning links and pages to make sure the website works well.

1. Logan Daugherty - a driver-less car - It was a good idea and the animation looked good. It was put together well.

2. Tyler Maupin - making and eating a sandwich - It was an original idea and it worked well as a stop motion animation.The music fit well.

3. Will Munholland - Him driving his car - The animation was smooth and it used creative camera angles to make a good video.

Journal - Tell me about two things you've learned while creating you stop-motion animation video. Go in to detail about those two items.

I learned how to make a stop motion animation by taking lots of pictures and putting them together to make a video. I learned  that you only move a little bit for every picture then when you speed them up it makes a smooth movie. I also learned how to use windows movie maker. I learned how to make the pictures show up really fast to make a stop motion animation. I learned how to add a title and credits in windows movie maker as well.
